The words drifted through Haru’s mind again as he wove the red yarn around his fingers, the fibres of which were as vivid as Rin’s hair. Suddenly he knew what the perfect going-away present to give to Rin would be.
Haru smiled as he reached for his knitting needles. He would miss Rin of course, but they would meet again soon, for it was more than the red string of fate that connected them after all.
